                                                 ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By enrolling a child at Morning Star Montessori, LLC (“School”), parents or legal guardians (“Parent/Guardian”) agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions, the Enrollment Agreement, Parent Handbook, and all School policies as amended from time to time.

Enrollment constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of all policies contained herein.

2.                                                        SCHOOL STATUS

Morning Star Montessori, LLC is a privately operated Montessori school organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The School reserves the right to establish its own educational philosophy, curriculum, policies, and procedures consistent with applicable law.

Enrollment does not create a long-term contractual obligation beyond the agreed enrollment term.

3.                                               ENROLLMENT & ADMISSION

• Admission is at the sole      discretion of the School.
• Completion of application and      payment of required fees does not guarantee placement.
• The School reserves the right to      deny or revoke admission at any time in its discretion, consistent with      applicable law.
• Trial periods may be implemented      for new students.

4.                                                         TUITION & FEES

4.1 Tuition Obligation

Tuition is an annual obligation and may be paid in installments according to the selected payment plan.

Parents agree to pay:

• Materials/Supply Fee (if      applicable): $_________________

Tuition is not based on attendance. Absences, holidays, weather closures, or temporary illness do not reduce tuition obligations.

4.2 Payment Terms

• Payments are due on the agreed      schedule.
• A late fee of $_______ may apply      after ______ days.
• Returned payments are subject to      bank fees and administrative charges.

4.3 Non-Payment

Failure to pay tuition may result in:

• Suspension of services
• Withholding of records
• Termination of enrollment
• Referral to collections

Parents are responsible for all reasonable collection costs and attorney’s fees if applicable.

5.                                     WITHDRAWAL & TERMINATION

5.1 Voluntary Withdrawal

Parents must provide written notice of withdrawal at least ______ days in advance.

Failure to provide required notice may result in forfeiture of tuition or deposits.

5.2 School-Initiated Termination

The School reserves the right to terminate enrollment for:

• Non-payment of tuition
• Repeated violation of School      policies
• Behavior that jeopardizes safety
• Parent misconduct, harassment, or      disruptive behavior
• Inability to meet a child’s needs      within program capacity

Refunds, if any, are at the sole discretion of the School unless otherwise required by law.

6.                                    EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY

Morning Star Montessori operates according to authentic Montessori principles, including:

• Mixed-age classrooms
• Child-led work cycles
• Independence and responsibility
• Respectful discipline
• Development of intrinsic      motivation

Parents agree to support the Montessori philosophy and not undermine classroom practices or staff authority.

7.                                            HEALTH & SAFETY

7.1 Medical Requirements

Parents must provide:

• Required immunization records or      lawful exemptions
• Emergency contact information
• Medical authorization forms

7.2 Illness Policy

Children who are ill must remain home. The School may require pickup for:

• Fever
• Vomiting/diarrhea
• Contagious conditions
• Unexplained rash

Return may require medical clearance.

7.3 Emergency Care

In the event of a medical emergency, the School may seek emergency treatment. Parents are financially responsible for any related costs.

8.                                                         DISCIPLINE POLICY

Morning Star Montessori uses positive discipline and redirection consistent with Montessori principles.

The School does not use corporal punishment.

Persistent behavioral concerns may require parent conferences or possible withdrawal if safety or classroom harmony is compromised.

9.                                      LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Parents acknowledge that participation in school activities involves inherent risks including, but not limited to:

• Playground activities
• Field trips
• Physical movement
• Minor injuries

By enrolling, Parent/Guardian assumes these risks and agrees to hold harmless Morning Star Montessori, LLC, its owners, employees, and agents from claims arising from ordinary negligence, except where prohibited by law.

10.                                             PHOTO & MEDIA CONSENT

The School may photograph or record students for:

• Educational documentation
• School publications
• Website or social media (with      signed consent)

Parents may opt out in writing.

11.                                                      CONFIDENTIALITY

The School will maintain confidentiality of student records in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Parents agree not to disclose confidential information regarding other students, families, or staff.

12.                                          COMMUNICATION POLICY

Professional communication is expected at all times.

The School reserves the right to terminate enrollment if a Parent/Guardian engages in:

• Harassment
• Threats
• Defamation
• Disruptive behavior
• Social media misconduct affecting      the School

13.                                                      FORCE MAJEURE

The School shall not be liable for interruptions in services due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:

• Severe weather
• Natural disasters
• Public health emergencies
• Government orders
• Utility failures

Tuition remains due unless otherwise determined by the School.

14.                                                               AMENDMENTS

Morning Star Montessori, LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be provided to families and become effective upon issuance.

15.                                                           GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate court located within Virginia.

16.                                                              SEVERABILITY

If any provision of this agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17.                                                      ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms & Conditions, together with the Enrollment Agreement and Parent Handbook, constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
